The Baseball Assistance Team (B.A.T.) has set a new fundraising record, raising $5.3 million during the 2026 Spring Training Fundraising Tour. This marks the fifth consecutive year of record-breaking fundraising for B.A.T., which supports members of the Baseball Family
in need. The New York Mets and Los Angeles Angels were recognized with the Bobby Murcer Award for their significant contributions. B.A.T. has provided $73 million in grants over its 40-year history, assisting players, coaches, and other baseball personnel.
