OpenBridge has launched a comprehensive open-source code library designed to improve safety and efficiency in maritime workplaces. Developed at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, the system standardizes human interaction with maritime technology,
addressing the fragmentation of digital interfaces across the industry. The library provides a universal framework supporting various maritime technologies, including augmented reality for navigation and advanced advice systems. Over 40 international partners have backed the project, releasing 200 web components on GitHub to reduce development costs and time for safety-critical maritime software.
