A Danish study has found that consuming a high-protein breakfast consisting of skyr yogurt and oats can significantly improve focus and satiety. Conducted by researchers at Aarhus University, the study involved 30 women aged 18 to 30 who were monitored
over three days. Participants consumed different types of breakfasts, including a protein-rich meal of skyr and oats, a carbohydrate-rich breakfast, and no breakfast. Results showed that the protein-rich breakfast enhanced cognitive function and concentration levels. Skyr, a traditional Icelandic dairy product, is rich in proteins, low in fat, and contains probiotics, contributing to muscle mass preservation and bone health.
