What's Happening?
SAFEEN Drydocks, a joint venture between AD Ports Group and Premier Marine Engineering Services, has secured two major vessel construction contracts worth $354 million. This marks the largest awards in the company's history, reinforcing the UAE's position
as a growing shipbuilding hub. The first project involves designing and fabricating four 140-meter multipurpose vessels for AD Ports Group, capable of supporting various cargo and logistics operations. The second contract involves constructing 18 specialized marine support units for Nigeria's Oilbank Logistics Services Ltd, including tugboats and pilot boats, to support port operations and offshore logistics.
