What's Happening?
A survey conducted by EduBrain reveals that millennials are the most interested in preserving themselves through artificial intelligence, with 33% expressing interest in AI-driven immortality. The survey, which included 3,000 participants from Gen Z,
millennial, and Gen X generations, found that Gen Xers were the least receptive, with only 10% interested. Gen Zers showed moderate interest, with 25% open to the idea. The survey also highlighted that millennials are the most frequent users of AI, with 37% reporting daily use, primarily for information retrieval. In contrast, Gen Zers use AI more for creative tasks.
Why It's Important?
The survey results indicate a generational divide in attitudes towards AI and its potential applications. Millennials' openness to AI-driven immortality reflects their comfort with technology and willingness to explore its possibilities. This trend could influence future developments in AI technology and its integration into daily life. The findings also suggest that as AI becomes more prevalent, it may play a significant role in shaping societal norms and expectations around life extension and digital legacy.
