Charles Williams, a former professional hockey player and current goalie coach, is actively working to expand the sport of hockey in Jacksonville, Florida. As the director of community hockey development for the Buffalo Sabres' affiliate team in the ECHL,
Williams is leveraging his experience to introduce hockey to new audiences. Growing up in Canton, Michigan, Williams never imagined a professional hockey career, but his success at Canisius College led to a seven-season career in the ECHL and AHL. Now, he is focused on using his platform to foster diversity and inclusion in hockey, aiming to make the sport more accessible to underrepresented communities.
