What's Happening?
The Tennessee Tech men's golf team is set to make its debut at the National Golf Invitational (NGI) from May 22-24 at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes in Maricopa, Arizona. Despite being ranked No. 193, the team has shown strength and consistency, with a head-to-head
record of 97-43-2 and three top-five finishes. Head coach Polk Brown, in his 15th season, has only led a team to postseason once before, when they won the Ohio Valley Conference Championship in 2024. The NGI invitation came as a surprise after the team narrowly lost to Arkansas-Little Rock in the conference championship. Brown has taken the opportunity to travel with the entire team, providing a valuable experience as they prepare to join the Southern Conference next year.
