Petrodec has resumed decommissioning operations in the North Sea with its OBANA jack-up platform, focusing on the Pickerill field for Perenco UK. The platform, designed for offshore decommissioning, is tasked with removing jackets from Pickerill A and
B, and will later move to the Amethyst field. This project marks OBANA's second decommissioning venture, following its maiden work program earlier this year. The platform's capabilities are proving effective in meeting client needs for efficient and cost-effective infrastructure removal.
