Cobi Jones, a former soccer star for the LA Galaxy and the U.S. national team, is being honored with a nine-foot-tall bronze statue at Dignity Health Sports Park. The statue, which captures Jones in motion with his iconic dreadlocks, will be unveiled
before the Galaxy's match against Real Salt Lake. Jones, who played a record 306 games for the Galaxy, is celebrated for his contributions to the team and U.S. soccer. The statue joins those of other soccer legends like David Beckham and Landon Donovan in Legends Plaza.
