The Dunlap Eagles baseball team continued their impressive winning streak by securing their 14th consecutive victory. On Monday night, the Eagles defeated East Peoria with a score of 4-0 at EastSide Centre. Carter Lippens was a standout performer, striking
out 11 hitters over six scoreless innings. This victory places the Eagles in sole possession of first place in the Mid-Illini Conference. Ryder Rennette contributed significantly with a two-run triple, while RJ Duncheon of East Peoria struck out 13 hitters in a strong pitching performance. Other baseball teams that secured wins on the same day included Morton, Washington, Canton, Normal West, Tremont, and Peoria Christian. In softball, Pekin's Jaeleigh Decker hit a two-run homer in the 11th inning, leading the Dragons to a 3-2 victory over East Peoria.
