Daimler Truck has implemented a custom ride and comfort driving simulator developed by VI-grade at its development and testing facility in Wörth, Germany. This simulator is designed to support subjective
ride comfort evaluations across various vehicle concepts, allowing assessments at up to two seating positions and replicating realistic vibration behavior early in the development process. The system integrates measurement technology for simultaneous acquisition of test bench data and simulator inputs, ensuring accuracy and repeatability. Additionally, HBK's nCode software is used for durability and fatigue analysis, providing engineering teams with deeper insights into vehicle performance.
