The 31st Annual Balboa Island ArtWalk took place on Balboa Island’s South Bayfront, drawing an estimated 3,000 visitors. The event featured a mile-long exhibit showcasing the works of 90 artists. Organized by Mary Hardesty Realty, the ArtWalk included
five stages of live music and a variety of art forms. Notable participants included photographer Won-il Chung, who displayed nostalgic images from his travels across the U.S., and Alessandra Thornton, who presented jewelry made from sustainably sourced materials like the Colombian tagua nut. French artist Armelle Satelier exhibited an abstract acrylic portrait of singer Billie Eilish, expressing her desire to connect with the artist. The event concluded with awards given to Jose Covarubbias, Nadia Radis-Cobb, and David Allen for their outstanding contributions.
