Kayci Hines has joined McGuireWoods as counsel in its restructuring and insolvency practice group in New York. Previously, Hines was part of the Justice Department’s Environment and Natural Resources Division.
During her tenure, she managed the representation of federal agencies in significant Chapter 11 environmental and energy insolvencies, including the largest offshore oil and gas bankruptcies in U.S. history. Her role involved advising DOJ and agency officials on various environmental and energy-related bankruptcies and regulatory issues. Additionally, she represented unsecured creditor committees and large individual creditors in Chapter 11 and 15 bankruptcies.
