Previously, Shetty held a similar position at JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu, where he was instrumental in enhancing the hotel's group rooms and catering portfolio. Known for his strategic foresight and market-driven approach, Shetty has been recognized with several industry accolades, including the BW Hotelier Sales Leader of the Year – West Zone in 2024 and Marriott International’s President’s Circle APEC Top Performer Award in 2024 and 2025.
