Alegría and Urrejola, who are partners in both life and production, co-wrote the series and served as showrunners and executive producers. Longoria was brought on as an executive producer to lend her voice and influence to ensure the project received the necessary support and budget. The series was discussed at the National Association of Latino Independent Producers’ Diverse Women in Media Forum, where the team shared insights into the production process and the importance of having supportive producers.
