Sanmar Shipyards, a Turkish tugboat builder, has delivered a new Boğaçay-Class tugboat named SAAM GUANAY to SAAM Towage, enhancing their long-term partnership. The tugboat, designed by Canadian naval architects Robert Allan Ltd, is the 13th vessel built by Sanmar for SAAM Towage. It is equipped with advanced features for ship-handling operations, including powerful Caterpillar engines and a robust bollard pull capacity. The tugboat will operate in Latin America, supporting SAAM Towage's commitment to a sustainable maritime industry with low- and zero-emission vessels.
