Ron Rivera, a former All-America linebacker at Cal and a two-time Super Bowl coach, has been inducted into the inaugural class of the Hispanic Football Hall of Fame. The ceremony took place at the Las Vegas Raiders headquarters, celebrating not only Rivera but
also other top Hispanic players in the NFL, college, and high school football. Rivera, who is currently the general manager of the California Golden Bears, expressed that the event is a representation of the Hispanic community's contributions to football. The Hall of Fame was co-founded by Rivera and Anthony Muñoz, a Hall of Fame offensive lineman. Rivera's career includes a Super Bowl win with the Chicago Bears and coaching stints with Carolina and Washington, where he was named Coach of the Year twice.
