What's Happening?
A new twelve-sided apartment building in Phoenix's Arts District draws inspiration from the iconic Mario Kart track, Rainbow Road. Designed by Räkhaus, the building features unique architectural elements that mimic the twists and turns of the track. The exterior includes dramatic windows angled to create a sense of motion, while public art elements on the ground level reflect the flowing geometry of Rainbow Road. The mixed-use complex offers amenities such as a fitness area, restaurant, and 36 apartment units, with rents starting at $1,900 per month. The project aims to energize the neighborhood and promote art-focused business.
