What's Happening?
Bulgari has introduced the Octo Finissimo 37, a new iteration of its ultra-thin timepiece, at the Watches & Wonders showcase in Geneva. Originally launched in 2014, the Octo Finissimo was celebrated for its slim design and powerful mechanics. The new model
features a reduced diameter of 37mm, making it more suitable for women's wrists. It retains the architecturally-inspired design elements that reflect Bulgari's Roman heritage. The watch is powered by a new self-winding movement, reduced by 20% in volume to fit the smaller case size. Available in titanium or 18-karat yellow gold, the Octo Finissimo 37 offers a three-day power reserve, catering to women who appreciate minimalist yet sophisticated timepieces.
Why It's Important?
The introduction of the Octo Finissimo 37 highlights Bulgari's commitment to addressing the evolving preferences of female consumers in the luxury watch market. By offering a smaller, more refined version of its popular timepiece, Bulgari is responding to the demand for watches that combine elegance with functionality. This move reflects broader industry trends where brands are increasingly focusing on gender-inclusive designs and marketing strategies. The Octo Finissimo 37 not only strengthens Bulgari's position in the luxury watch segment but also sets a precedent for other brands to innovate and cater to diverse consumer needs.
