Evan Neumann has been appointed as the Executive Chef at Auro, the Michelin-starred restaurant at Four Seasons Resort and Residences Napa Valley. Neumann's culinary journey began in Provence, France, where
he entered the kitchen at 14 and trained at the École Hôtelière d'Avignon. By 21, he was an executive chef, a rare achievement in French gastronomy. His career includes working under renowned chefs like Joël Robuchon and Alain Ducasse, and serving as Sous Chef to Anne-Sophie Pic at La Dame de Pic in Megève. Neumann's experience extends to New York, where he worked at Restaurant Daniel and Essential by Christophe. At Auro, he will focus on Napa Valley terroir, precision-driven execution, and a kitchen culture of mentorship and collaboration. The restaurant, which has held a Michelin star since 2023, offers a seven-course tasting menu influenced by French, Mexican, and Japanese flavors.
