What's Happening?
Eversheds Sutherland has announced the addition of three new partners from BakerHostetler to its Houston office. Eric Kristiansen, Cleve Glenn, and Ryan Pittman have joined the firm, with Kristiansen and Pittman becoming part of the litigation group,
while Glenn joins the corporate group. Kristiansen, who also serves as Co-Office Managing Partner and Texas Strategic Growth Partner, specializes in complex commercial litigation, including business disputes and liability cases. Pittman, a first-chair trial lawyer, focuses on representing energy and construction companies in litigation across state and federal courts.
Why It's Important?
The recruitment of these three partners is a strategic move by Eversheds Sutherland to bolster its presence in Houston, a key market for energy and construction litigation. By enhancing its litigation and corporate capabilities, the firm aims to better serve clients involved in high-stakes legal matters. This expansion reflects Eversheds Sutherland's commitment to growth in Texas, leveraging the expertise of Kristiansen, Glenn, and Pittman to attract and retain clients in the competitive legal landscape of the region.
