What's Happening?
Verbum Dei High School is set to honor its distinguished football alumni, Kenechi Udeze and Hardy Nickerson, in a ceremony on Thursday night. Nickerson, a 1983 graduate, had a successful NFL career as a linebacker and is now the head coach at JSerra.
Udeze, a 2000 graduate, was an All-American defensive lineman at USC and a first-round NFL draft pick, currently serving as an assistant coach at Florida International. The event will celebrate their contributions to the sport and their alma mater.
