What's Happening?
Platform Science has initiated its 2026 Connected Vehicle Lab (CVL) roadshow, featuring a 53-foot mobile demonstration trailer and tractor. This initiative aims to provide hands-on fleet technology experiences to operators across North America. The roadshow begins
at the American Trucking Associations’ Technology and Maintenance Council trade show and will visit fleet headquarters throughout the year. The program includes ten strategic partners, such as Doran, EBE Technologies, and Samsung, offering technologies like tire pressure monitoring and in-cab connectivity. The CVL showcases Platform Science’s Virtual Vehicle ecosystem, which allows fleets to deploy applications and manage in-cab technology from a single system.
Why It's Important?
The 2026 CVL roadshow represents a significant step in advancing fleet technology and connectivity. By providing direct access to integrated solutions, Platform Science is enabling fleet operators to experience and adopt new technologies that can enhance operational efficiency and safety. This initiative is crucial for the transportation industry as it navigates the challenges of digital transformation and the increasing demand for smart, connected vehicles. The collaboration with strategic partners also highlights the importance of cross-industry partnerships in driving innovation and addressing complex technological needs.
What's Next?
As the roadshow progresses, fleet operators will have the opportunity to explore and implement new technologies that could transform their operations. The feedback and insights gained from these interactions may influence future developments in fleet technology. Additionally, the success of the roadshow could encourage other companies to adopt similar approaches, further accelerating the adoption of connected vehicle technologies across the industry.
