What's Happening?
The 'Hospital of Emotions' is an immersive art exhibit taking place in the former St. Vincent Medical Center in Los Angeles. This exhibit, running from May 27 through July 31, occupies four floors of the hospital and features the work of over 70 artists.
The 45,000-square-foot space is divided into emotional departments such as grief, fear, hope, joy, and sadness. Unlike typical pop-up art installations, this exhibit is set in a building that will soon serve a new purpose. By 2028, the hospital will reopen as the St. Vincent Behavioral Health Campus, providing addiction treatment, mental health services, and housing solutions.
