What's Happening?
Metso has been awarded significant contracts by the Reko Diq Mining Company to supply advanced beneficiation and dewatering equipment for its copper-gold project in Pakistan. The contracts, valued at approximately
€70 million, are part of a frame agreement announced in August 2024. Metso's delivery will include a comprehensive flotation flowsheet integrating TankCell and Concorde Cell technologies, designed to enhance metallurgical efficiency while reducing costs. The project will also feature the first fully integrated HIGmill-Concorde Cell circuit, aimed at improving recovery rates for complex ore types. Additionally, Metso will provide Larox PF60 series filters, slurry pumps, and HRT High Rate Thickeners equipped with Reactorwell technology, along with a mill reline machine featuring advanced safety and functionality.
