Mahle is also implementing a photovoltaic-thermal array at its Vaihingen/Enz plant and has switched inter-company transport to HVO100 biofuel, reducing emissions by over 90%.
Why It's Important?
Mahle's progress in reducing emissions underscores the automotive industry's shift towards sustainability and environmental responsibility. By integrating sustainability into its core operations, Mahle sets a benchmark for other companies in the sector. The reduction in emissions not only contributes to global environmental goals but also enhances Mahle's reputation as a leader in sustainable practices.
