Kimera Automobili has introduced its latest supercar, the K39, at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este in Italy. This new model features a 986-horsepower twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine sourced from Koenigsegg, marking the first time Koenigsegg has allowed
another company to use its engines. The K39 is designed with a carbon-fiber monocoque and radical bodywork, emphasizing aerodynamics with features like a deep duct in the hood and a tall rear wing. The vehicle is equipped with a seven-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive, although a sequential gearbox is also being considered. Kimera plans to produce fewer than 100 units of the K39, with a special Pikes Peak version also in development.
