Quinnipiac University’s Student Programming Board has announced that The Driver Era, an alternative rock duo consisting of brothers Rocky and Ross Lynch, will headline the annual Wake the Giant concert on April 26, 2026, at the M&T Bank Arena. The duo,
known for their blend of pop, funk, and rock music, has gained significant popularity since their formation in 2018. Their notable tracks include 'A Kiss,' 'Afterglow,' and 'Preacher Man,' with their 2019 album 'X' amassing over 203 million streams. Ross Lynch, who gained fame through his roles on Disney Channel, has helped the duo build a substantial fanbase, contributing to their 1.5 million Instagram followers and 724.6 thousand monthly Spotify listeners. Ticket sales for the concert will open for undergraduate and 3+1 students on Wednesday at 1 p.m., with graduate students able to purchase tickets the following day if available.
