Exol, formerly known as GreenBox Logistics, has launched its first U.S. 'physical AI' fulfillment facilities, introducing a new logistics model called 'fulfillment-as-a-service'. This initiative aims to expand access to large-scale warehouse automation
by providing companies with shared, robot-enabled facilities for tasks such as order fulfillment and inventory handling. The first facility in Atlanta is operational, with plans for additional locations in California, Texas, New Jersey, and Illinois. Backed by a $7.5 billion investment from SoftBank Group and Symbotic, Exol's network is designed to support retail, wholesale, and consumer goods companies, offering a flexible and cost-efficient approach to logistics.
