Austin Peay Governors basketball team has achieved significant recognition in the Atlantic Sun Conference. Collin Parker was named the ASUN Newcomer of the Year and earned a spot on the All-ASUN first team. Zyree Collins was honored as the Freshman of the Year and made
the third team, while Rashaud Marshall was selected for the second team. These accolades come as the team shares the ASUN regular-season championship with Central Arkansas, marking their first regular-season title since 2008. The Governors secured the No. 2 seed in the conference tournament and are set to face either Eastern Kentucky or Stetson in the quarterfinals on March 6 in Jacksonville, Florida.
