The Seattle Kraken are set to host Black Hockey History Night at the Climate Pledge Arena, featuring performances and activities that celebrate the contributions of the Black community to the sport. The event will include a performance by Tacoma's Lincoln
High School Cheer Team, known for their Stomp and Shake style, during the second intermission of the game against the Vancouver Canucks. The night is part of the Kraken's Common Thread program, which aims to promote inclusivity and diversity in hockey. Additionally, the event will feature an Anchor Auction with proceeds going to the Black Future Co-op Fund, showcasing a special Black Hockey History jersey designed by local artist Damon Brown.
