What's Happening?
The Texas UIL football state championships concluded with twelve schools being crowned champions after four days of competition at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Among the notable winners were Stephenville, who claimed the 4A Division 1 title with a 10-0 victory over Kilgore, and Carthage, who secured the 4A Division 2 title by defeating West-Orange Stark 49-21. Comal Smithson Valley emerged victorious in the 5A Division 1 category, defeating Frisco Lone Star 28-6.
