sold in the following two weeks. This rapid sales achievement makes Requiem the fastest-selling entry in the Resident Evil series to date. Currently, it ranks as the eighth best-selling game in the series, positioned between Resident Evil 5, which sold 10 million units, and the Resident Evil remake, which sold 5.10 million units. Game director Koshi Nakanishi has confirmed that a story expansion is in development, although details remain undisclosed.
