What's Happening?
CLLIX Apartments & Hotels is set to expand the use of Flexkeeping, a management tool by Mews, across more than 20 properties in Australia following a successful pilot at Brisbane Skytower. The pilot demonstrated significant improvements in operational
efficiency, guest satisfaction, and control. Brisbane Skytower, which manages over 435 short-term apartments, reported a 413% return on investment and a monthly saving of 112 hours in room allocation. The automation capabilities of Flexkeeping reduced administrative tasks by up to 50% and automated 27% of tasks monthly. The property also achieved a cleanliness score above 8.8 on Booking.com while maintaining a 90% occupancy rate. The success of the pilot has prompted CLLIX to implement Flexkeeping across its portfolio, starting with larger properties, to enhance operational visibility and efficiency.
Why It's Important?
The expansion of Flexkeeping across CLLIX's properties highlights the growing importance of technology in the hospitality industry. By automating routine tasks and improving operational efficiency, CLLIX can offer a more seamless and satisfactory experience to guests, which is crucial in a competitive market. The significant return on investment and time savings demonstrate the potential for technology to transform hotel operations, leading to cost savings and improved service quality. This move could set a precedent for other hospitality providers to adopt similar technologies, potentially reshaping industry standards and expectations.
