What's Happening?
A variety of sports events took place across Northern New York, featuring high school and college competitions in basketball, volleyball, and hockey. In high school boys basketball, Chateaugay defeated Lake Placid 57-35, while Indian River triumphed over Vernon Verona Sherrill with a score of 81-39. High school girls basketball saw Harrisville winning against Beaver River 49-21, and Carthage beating Hermon-DeKalb 47-23. In high school boys hockey, Hamburg overcame Ogdensburg 5-3, and Potsdam secured a victory against Niagara-Wheatfield 6-2. College sports also saw action, with Keystone PA defeating SUNY Potsdam 102-76 in men's basketball, and Piedmont winning over SUNY Potsdam 84-51 in women's basketball.
