Sunny Stroeer, a former management consultant at Bain, has transitioned into a career in outdoor adventure, where she has encountered more overt gender bias than in her previous corporate environment. While climbing Aconcagua in Argentina, Stroeer noticed
a stark difference in how she was treated compared to male climbers, facing questions about her capability and safety. This experience led her to establish a women's expedition company and the Summit Scholarship program, which supports women in mountaineering.
