The classic sci-fi anime franchise Cyborg 009 is set to return with a new series titled 'Cyborg 009 Nemesis'. The announcement includes a teaser visual and a confirmed streaming window for Summer 2026. The series will introduce a new character, Nemesis 009,
also known as Graviton, voiced by Yuichi Nakamura. Graviton is depicted as a former special forces operative from the UK with the ability to manipulate gravity. The anime is directed by Hideki Anbo at studio ARECT, with Atsuhiro Tomioka and Charatex handling the screenplay, and sanorin responsible for character designs. Cyborg 009, originally based on the manga by Shotaro Ishinomori, follows nine individuals turned into cyborg soldiers by the Black Ghost organization, who eventually rebel against their creators.
