What's Happening?
Lufthansa has reintroduced its Airbus A380 aircraft, featuring a newly upgraded business-class cabin. This marks the first of eight A380s to undergo such enhancements, with the first aircraft, D-AIMC, now operating on the Munich-Los Angeles route as of April
23. The upgrades, which began in early February, include 68 seats with increased comfort and privacy, and updated in-flight entertainment systems. The refit process, taking approximately 12 weeks per aircraft, is being conducted at the EFW facility in Dresden. The airline plans to complete all eight aircraft by mid-next year, with routine maintenance being performed concurrently.
