Aldi is implementing a redesign of its U.S. stores as part of a global effort to create a consistent brand image. The redesign includes new signage, pricing language, and updated visuals, developed in collaboration with Landini Associates. The new store format
is more flexible, allowing for different layouts that can adapt to various market needs, including smaller urban locations. This initiative is part of Aldi's broader expansion strategy, which includes opening over 180 new stores across 31 states in 2026 and converting nearly 80 acquired Southeastern Grocers locations into Aldi stores.
