The Dallas Cowboys have finalized a four-year rookie contract with their first-round draft pick, Malachi Lawrence. According to ESPN, the deal is valued at $20.2 million, fully guaranteed, and includes an $11.2 million signing bonus. Lawrence, selected
23rd overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, is an edge rusher from the University of Central Florida (UCF). The contract also features a fifth-year team option. In addition to Lawrence, the Cowboys secured safety Caleb Downs from Ohio State, who was picked 11th overall. With these signings, the Cowboys have all their draft picks under contract. Lawrence's performance at UCF included seven sacks and 28 tackles, 11 of which were for a loss, over 12 games in the previous season.
