Three M&A lawyers have been charged with exploiting client secrets for financial gain, raising questions about their employment at seven different Big Law firms. Nicolo Nourafchan, one of the accused, worked at Sidley Austin, Latham & Watkins, and Goodwin
Procter between 2013 and 2023. Federal indictments allege that he committed crimes at all three firms. Despite being fired from Latham and Goodwin, the firms have not indicated prior knowledge of his alleged activities.
