What's Happening?
ISACA, in collaboration with the Caterpillar Foundation, is expanding its Digital Trust Workforce Development Program to prepare more than 130 learners for technology jobs in 2026. The program, supported
by a grant from the Caterpillar Foundation, will be offered in select U.S. cities, including Miami Lakes, Houston, Chicago, Griffin, Athens, Pontiac, and Muncie. The program aims to equip individuals with practical, job-ready skills and ISACA certificates, facilitating entry into the IT workforce. Courses offered may include Computing Fundamentals and Cybersecurity Fundamentals, taught by local partners and ISACA chapter members.
Why It's Important?
The expansion of the Digital Trust Workforce Development Program addresses the growing demand for skilled professionals in the technology sector. By providing training and certification opportunities, the program helps bridge the skills gap and supports workforce development in the IT industry. This initiative aligns with broader efforts to enhance digital literacy and prepare individuals for careers in a rapidly evolving digital economy. The program's focus on inclusivity and accessibility could open career pathways for underrepresented groups, contributing to a more diverse and resilient tech workforce.
