Illinois high school seniors were recognized for their retail-focused innovations at the Illinois Governor’s Mansion. The Illinois Retail Merchants Association announced the winners of its first Illinois Retail Challenge Scholarship Competition during
an awards luncheon attended by Governor JB Pritzker. The event celebrated student-developed solutions to challenges facing the retail industry. Winning teams received scholarships ranging from $2,000 per student to $60,000 per team. The competition, supported by the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, aimed to connect students with real-world industry problems.
