Citi has launched the Citi / AAdvantage Globe Mastercard, a new co-branded airline credit card in partnership with American Airlines. This card is designed to offer travelers enhanced benefits, including
statement credits and in-flight experiences. The card carries a $350 annual fee, which is lower than the $595 fee of the Citi / AAdvantage Executive World Elite Mastercard. The Globe card offers a welcome bonus of 90,000 American Airlines AAdvantage bonus miles after spending $5,000 in the first four months, compared to the Executive card's 70,000 miles for $7,000 spent in three months. The Globe card also provides 3X miles on American Airlines purchases and 6X miles on AAdvantage Hotels bookings, among other benefits.
