The Nebraska softball team, ranked No. 3, concluded their regular season with a decisive 13-5 victory over the Penn State Nittany Lions, completing a series sweep. This win in University Park, Pennsylvania, marked the end of a successful season for the Huskers,
who finished with a 43-6 record, achieving a program-best .878 win percentage. In the Big Ten Conference, they posted a 23-1 record, tying the conference record for most wins in a season, excluding the 2021 season when all games were in-conference due to COVID-19. Key players included Jordy Frahm, who went 4-for-4 with two home runs and three RBIs, and Alexis Jensen, who secured the win as a relief pitcher. The team collectively logged 15 hits, showcasing a balanced offensive effort.
