by large language models (LLMs) when generating beauty product recommendations. Reddit, Who What Wear, Wikipedia, and Sephora are among the top sources cited. The analysis highlights that AI models prioritize different sources based on the beauty category, with skincare queries leaning towards editorial outlets and major retailers, while fragrance queries often cite retailer websites and brand-owned content. The findings underscore the importance of well-structured product data and verified trust signals, such as certifications and badges, in enhancing a brand's visibility in AI-generated recommendations.
