The team also went unbeaten in the Athens Regional, defeating Long Island and Liberty. Georgia, the No. 3 national seed, will face Texas in their first game at the College World Series. Texas, the No. 6 national seed, secured their spot by defeating Oregon in the Austin Super Regional. The College World Series is set to begin on June 12, 2026.
