St Brelade's Church in Jersey has become a focal point of community engagement with the installation of hundreds of glittery paper plate angels. Reverend Sarah McClelland, who oversees the church, reported
that between 700 and 800 angels have been crafted by local residents. The initiative, which involved schools, retirement homes, and community groups like the Guides and Brownies, aims to foster a sense of unity and celebration. The angels, suspended from the church ceiling with fishing wire, will remain on display until January 6. Reverend McClelland expressed her delight at the community's participation, highlighting the display as a symbol of hope, love, and joy.
