Brazilian Critical Minerals (ASX:BCM) has entered into a non-binding collaboration agreement with Southern Alliance Mining (SGX:QNS) to jointly evaluate the Ema Rare Earths Project in Brazil. This partnership
aims to assess the technical, commercial, and logistical requirements for joint operations and to negotiate commercial terms for future offtake. Southern Alliance Mining, which owns 40% of MCRE Resources, operates one of the largest in-situ recovery (ISR) rare earth projects globally, the Gerik mine in Malaysia. The collaboration will enable both parties to identify high-value uses for the mine’s rare earth products and explore sales opportunities. The Ema project represents a significant step in bringing a low-cost, low-impact ISR model into a Western supply chain, as it is the only known ISR applicable deposit to date.
