MassRobotics has announced the opening of applications for its fourth annual Form and Function Robotics Challenge. This competition invites university teams from around the world to showcase innovative
robotics projects, with a grand prize of $10,000. Additional awards include $1,000 for second and third place, as well as a $1,000 Audience Choice Award. Applications are open until February 2, 2026, and the challenge will culminate in live demonstrations at the 2026 Robotics Summit & Expo in Boston on May 27 and 28. MassRobotics, a leading independent robotics hub, aims to accelerate innovation and commercialization in the robotics and AI sectors. The challenge encourages students to develop creative solutions that balance design with real-world functionality, evaluated on technical execution and presentation quality.
